The Valley Collection Fit Guide

These garments are the foundation of our everyday wear. Creating a fit that skims the body in some places and flows around it in others. The sizing for the Valley Collection has some flexibility, meaning you can size up to achieve an oversized look. Please keep in mind the shoulder will get wider and the neckline and armhole will drop if you choose to size up. If you are in between sizes, then sizing up one size will be safer as it is easier to take in a garment than let one out.

Sizing up for an oversized look in the Valley Work Tee

To get an oversized look in the Valley Work Tee we recommend sizing up one to two sizes.

I am 5'10" with a 36" bust (medium) and I love to wear both the M & 2XL. Pictured wearing the 2XL in raw silk.

Sizing up for an oversized look in the Valley Dress

If you want a looser fit with a slightly lower neckline and dropped armhole we recommend sizing up 1 size.

Sizing up in the Valley Dress will create more volume in the cape when tied at the empire, as shown on Kelsey who is wearing the Valley Dress, Long - Raw Silk size M. Kelsey has a 33" bust and traditionally would wear a size Small.
